The objective was to design of a strategic travel plan for 2000 attendees attending the one event. Mapping out those that will be placed on a group flight, booked using an OBT and those directed straight to an agent for high touch bookings.
Limited air lift from certain ports required careful consideration of how travel plans could be secured. Combined with security requirements of no more than 30 people on one given aircraft. Combining these factors into one registration site for a customized booking process.
The solution was a customized registration site design specifically for every outcome of travel, providing as much automation as possible. Streamlining the registration process allowed the travel team & concierges to focus on the attendees and provide elevated white glove service
A customized registration experience for each and every attendee. With the use of logic attendees only received information that was relevant to their specific needs.
The travel team could book 4 times the number of flights in each day, allowing for increased turnaround times.
Overall budget savings due to the carefully planned out travel schedules using group flights and lowest logical fare bookings. The quicker turnaround times allowed for lower rates.
