Hybrid sales kickoff for a global brand
The team at Konica Minolta wanted to produce an exciting sales kickoff to get their sales team motivated after a tough year.
The challenge they faced was to produce a motivating event without the budget required to bring the global sales team together in one location for an annual conference.
We proposed a hybrid sales kickoff with three physical locations which allowed 50 attendees to be in person at their local office, while the remaining 250 joined virtually. All locations were connected by live broadcast so it felt like one big event.

The hybrid sales kickoff consisted of 17 speakers, 2 pre-recorded sessions, 3 in-person locations with a total of 50 in-person attendees and 250 virtual attendees.
The most important thing to our client for this event was that the ‘vibe’ felt as motivating as if the team were all together in person. Based on feedback, this was definitely achieved through a solid creative vision for this event, some high quality pre-recorded sessions, and professional production to make remote attendees feel like they were really part of this event.
We achieved cost savings for the client of over 75% compared to the regular in-person format for this event. Our post-event survey yielded an attendee satisfaction score of 96% and the client gave the event 10/10 and plans to use the same format next year.
