As we prepare for Thanksgiving and the leaves start to fall from the trees here in the Northern Hemisphere, the industry is offering some fantastic new venues to help you meet in cozy comfort this fall. Let’s see what the Huddle sourcing experts are keeping an eye on in this installment of Event Venue News!

The Exchange, Chicago

The Atrium of The Exchange, Chicago

Just beside Millennium Park, The Exchange is a real architectural gem in the heart of Chicago. The Daniel Burnham-designed structure boasts several new or recently renovated event spaces, taking advantage of the 8,100 square foot floorplan.

For smaller gatherings or meetings Theo’s bar is a great option, offering locally brewed beers and natural wines perfect for up to 60. The Listening Room is a great open space for similar sized groups, while larger events can take advantage of the beautiful Atrium pictured above can accommodate receptions for up to 500.

The Gabriel, South Beach

Pittsburgh will host The Industrialist, a new property coming to Marriott’s Autograph Collection.

The Gabriel South Beach

South Beach just became an even more attractive destination for fall events with the opening of The Gabriel South Beach, a new lifestyle-focused resort right on Ocean Drive.

Taking design cues from the 1930s, this art-deco inspired property boasts 132 guest rooms, two pools and a a sundeck on the roof overlooking the ocean. Boardrooms can accommodate your meeting needs, while the outdoor terrace and event spaces offer a chance to enjoy the famous climate and ambiance of the area.

Check out some more incentive destinations in Florida we are excited about

Pendry Manhattan West

Ritz Carlton Turks and Caicos

Pendry Manhattan West

The largest hotel offered by the brand so far, Pendry Manhattan West welcomed its first guests a few months ago, but is really coming into its own in this new season.

With design by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill this 164-room offering is a Hudson Yards jewel with more than 6,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Smaller gatherings can take advantage of the 734 square-foot Gallery on the fifth floor, or The Salon, an 800 square-foot space ideal for prefunctions. Those with greater needs will be well served by the 1,637 square-foot terrace overlooking the Manhattan skyline, while the dining and bar options from Zou Zou’s Eastern Mediterranean restaurant to the coffee and cocktails in the Garden Room will keep attendees satisfied.

SAGA

Saga Restaurant, New York

Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing,

Another exciting option and a new favorite for our New York team is SAGA, a newly opened restaurant in the landmark art deco building at 70 Pine Street.

Event planners will find unique event spaces that leverage their position on the 63rd floor of this iconic Manhattan address. For starters there is the 1,779 foot fine dining space itself, which can accommodate 125 for receptions.

There is a 181-square-foot solarium where small groups can gaze at the breathtaking view in an intimate setting. Saga also offers private dining salons on the 62nd floor with incredible views of Brooklyn and Manhattan that will make you feel like a tourist all over again. Finally, ‘The Overstory’ the cocktail bar on the 64th floor is just shy of 600 square feet and can accommodate 60 guests and includes an outdoor terrace with still more stunning views.

With several other spaces to choose from, this is a great option for organizations who want to give their guests a New York experience they will remember forever.
