More than half of all event planners say they need help managing data
A study from Eventsforce has found that half of all event planners surveyed say all the new data being collected with virtual events and enhanced event tech for in-person or hybrid events is putting pressure on their information management systems. The importance of data in the event space is underscored by the fact that 82% of those surveyed think solving this data management problem will be critical to successful events in the future. This industry-wide challenge is shining a new spotlight on strategic meetings management as an effective framework for managing and understanding data.

Fresh data from the Union of International Organizations 62nd annual Meetings Statistic Report has been released, giving planners and companies a better idea of how the sector was structured in 2019 and how it responded during 2020. Cvent Connect goes live in Vegas
Event tech giant Cvent is hosting their annual Cvent CONNECT event in hybrid format August 1-4. Live attendees will gather at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, and virtual attendance will be via the Cvent Attendee Hub.
